I have no particular interest in the technicalities of how a kilt is made – I just care about how it looks and feels. My focus is on the fashion, culture and heritage of kilts in a Scottish context.
But I’m still glad there are plenty of people who do focus on those technicalities, as it serves to help people make kilts which don’t look like absolute garbage
As with all things, variety is the spice of life, and it would be boring and unhelpful if we all had the same priorities.
