A nod to the past.
Gving a talk today was an opportunity to dress properly and with a nod to the past.

Jacket - Made in 1983 from material dyed, spun, hand-woven by Miss Marion Campbell, Plockrapol, Harris. She was 80 attention time and probably the last person to do the whole process.
Kilt – Made c.1925 for the artist William Skeoch Cumming. Purchased at auction (plus a matching jacket and trews). Remade to fit by Paul Henry.
Sporran – 1958 MkII cantle - newly rebagged.
Hose – Gairloch Pattern by Jennifer Ross.
