I only own two kilts. Both are USA Kilts philabegs. On two seperate occasions I have been stopped by Scots (as in from Scotland) who are both surprised and thrilled to see a man in a kilt walking the streets of Philadelphia.
There are some really odd people out there who seem to think that a kilt can only be made of a certain material or worn with certain accessories. It is and has always been an evolving garment.
