It really wasn't that difficult either, once I figured out how to use the sewing machine. The materials were dirt cheap (12 yds of grossgrain at Jo-Anns for $2.99!) and I just couldn't see spending upwards of $20.00 or more for the flashes from a kilt store. I don't think I would sell my wares until I "perfected" my seams. It's ok for me, but others may think it's sloppy. Practice, practice, practice. Oh...and the sewing machine is borrowed, so I'm limited in that respect, too.
