Yup, Blu's right.
Again. It's the weave in the material that's pulling apart and wearing thin. The chemical make-up is fine. The colors are fine. The tartans are fine. The wear is unnaturally fast for my kilts. Even the thinner wool ones are not doing this. It's that simple. I wand-wash all my kilts except for the Workman's UK.
Hey Graham, PV is an "inexpensive" alternative... not cheap!
For the record, I have not made so much as ONE poly-viscose kilt in my life.
Arise. Kill. Eat.
