A friend (from the coffee shop) is an artist, and had an opening this evening. It was for a fund raiser for a private and elite school in town. I was fortunate to know Rose (the artist) and the Headmaster of the school (his wife worked for me in the late 80's and early 90's).

With the string quartet playing in the background (they were rather nice BTW) I walked in decked out all kilted of course. Like I said this is an elite private school. Most of the children of the high society and children of high profile athletes go here, so on the name tags I noticed some rather big names.

Not to be a braggard, I fit right in. Everyone just loved it. Plenty of thumbs up smiles, pats on the back, etc. Several gentlemen came up and said that they wish that they had the guts to do what I was doing. Some even said to their wives and or girlfriends that if I was wearing one why couldn't they? Only one strange commen, from a gentlemen that was in his early 70's, he said that he would not wear one, I asked him why, and he said his legs just don't look good.

Got to have my picture taken with the headmaster and his wife for the newsletter of the school, but who knows, I just might end up on the society page.
