How do I like it?
I have a Rob Roy model.
Let's see. I am a stingy, miserly, cranky, crabby bastard.
Mine has seen a ton of abuse. Fights, spills, blood, scuffs, thumps, bangs, and sharp or otherwise rough edges when I have to squeeze my self between two objects or something. Being battered has only increased it's character. I too, ripped the tips of the tassels after it snagged the first time. It will probably take a lot more abuse too, and do it with out my coddling it along. It holds everything I need it to. Wallet. Tin of Altoids. Watch. Keys. Pen and paper. Everything. And it looks pretty good. A little touch of crisco and a rag to rub out the scuffs and buff it to a shine works every time.
My sporran is a lot like me. Tough and cheap. And beat up. It still does it's job with out fail.
I'd give it a good 9/10.
It needs a good strap. That's my only complaint about it. It comes with a POS chain. If it came with a good strap, it would have been a perfect 10.
And coming from me this means something, because I am a picky loud mouthed opinionated bastard.
