Also might want to check Sportsman’s Guide (www.sportsmansguide.com). They sometimes have some great worldwide military surplus and may be able to pick up a pair of German tanker boots or such, which look really cool with a kilt.

You know... I have a pair of American tanker boots I picked up after I finished Officer Basic at Ft. Knox (I was a reserve armor officer). I never even considered wearing them with a kilt... that might look darned sharp!
