Here's the thing. My waist is 40 inches so the wasitband length of these kilts is about 60 inches.. Folding the kilt in thirds means that the folded-over length is about 20 inches. Using a kilt hanger like what you put in that link...12 inches, still leaves the end unsupported......and the pleats go *sag*. It's a lot better than what I've got now, though.
I might have to take apart an old fashioned pair of pants hangers and make my own kilt hangers from 1-by wood stock, and 20-inch long wood parts to hold them up properly..
