I got my two Boulder (solid color) Sport Kilts. Wow! The freedom of movement is great. I love them. So, I HAD to order two more - A green Irish tartan, and an Amstrong tartan. And, since I ordered them with sewn down pleats and belt loops, I HAD to order a kilt belt and buckle. Is this addicting or what?

So, as a first time kilt wearer, I wore my gunmetal grey to a local convenient store (I'm in mid-Missouri). It was totally uneventful, other than the girl behind the checkout counter saying "I really like your kilt." I have two kilt pins, and I'm not sure, but maybe this helps to define the garment as a kilt, even though it is a solid color. The pins are a sword-type design, and look vary masculine.
