Keep your boots on
As I was dressing yesterday it occured to me that one of the great advantages of the kilt is that I don't have to remove my shoes to change my kilt.
Now this may seem obvious, or even irrelevant, but I always found it a real nuisance when wearing jeans with legs so narrow that they wouldn't slip over my boots, so I had to remove them, change my trousers then tie up my boots again.
Lately I've had a sore back, so any extra bending down is an issue.
Just another of the wonderful, time saving features of this garment we call the kilt!
