Things you can't do in a kilt
What activities can't you do in a kilt? Either that it'd not be proper, wouldn't be safe, or just wouldn't work that well.
And this is 'you' in a personal sense, not 'you' in a general sense. So if you personally don't bungee jump, then don't mention it.
As for myself, one of my favorite activities just doesn't work well with a kilt. It wouldn't be proper, and likely wouldn't be safe either. I ride a recumbent bicycle, commuting from work most of the time and riding on the weekend. I actually did try it one evening, the apron came right up as expected; tried tucking it in as motorcyclists have done, couldn't pedal easily. Its mostly a bummer on the weekend in that if I want to hop on the bike for a couple errands, I've got to change outta the kilt. Or stay in the kilt and drive instead.
I also don't work on the car in the kilt. Especially if its anything more than just opening the hood. Too often I'll end up crawling around to get at what I need, don't want to mess up the kilt, or get myself tangled up under the car.
So while I'm only kilted 3-4 days/week (but nearly every evening), that's a couple of the limits I've found so far.
