Wow! Men, THIS is what we've been talking about on various threads for a LONG time. The J'Dez people did it.

http://www.jdez.com/men/underkilt/

Just got three of them in. Bought the black ones. I'd been wearing my blue denim Utilikilt regimental this morning. Picked the underkilts up at the post office around noon. Put one on at home at lunch. What a difference. Suddenly the denim isn't denim against my skin its soft organic cotton against my skin.

What they did was take organic cotton t-shirt type material sew it together (there's a serged seam down each outside leg area) and put elastic like on jockey shorts around the waist.

This works! I remember some of you guys worried about a "skirty" look...with this comfort WHO CARES!!??

I'm already wearing them just to knock around in at home.

Only downsides I can see so far...the wait...took a couple weeks longer than originally expected, but we're all used to jonesing. Woulda been faster if I'd stayed with the white. They send the black out to be died.

No good alone if you're gonna sit down...your package is gonna show, they're meant for comfort and sanitation rather than modesty.

I'm used to my narrow UK apron dropping between my knees when I sit. With the underkilt the narrow UK apron is kinda held up a bit like with a large apron kilt. Not a hard adjustment.

I like these things. They are well made. No scrimping on quality.

Have a pic on page 6 of my gallery. My first effort at self-portrait and I'm glaring at the camera wondering if it will work right and my massive belly has lapped over the top of the underkilt...and its black....so in the pic it looks like a black miniskirt...

But the key to this deal is the COMFORT...the looks are hidden from the world under the kilt. Hiking in a UK workman's should take on a new level of comfort with an underkilt. I'm gonna feel better about going regimental in my expensive hand sewn traditional kilts from Kathy Lare.

Guys, this is what we've been looking for. No shill here, just one happy camper.
