Role Reversals
Flipping through the channels today I stopped on Fit Tv for a bit, watching a show on some ancient Indian martial art.
This western woman went to India to learn the martial art (which is really long, has a lot of vowels and consonants in an order I dont remember, and started with a "k").
One of the scenes showed her practicing the stances with one of the Masters, and he was unbifurcated in a traditional sort of skirt while she was in pants. In order for him to show her the proper leg positions he had to fold the skirt up and tuck it into his waistband, making it kilt length.
(The show is Deadly Arts, and the martial art is Kalaripayattu. The country is actually Kerala, and the western woman is Josette Normandeau)
