Leaving class today I noticed that there was a small fundraising bake sale going on in Jamrich Hall. I didn't know what it was for, I tried to catch the sign on my way down the stairs, and as I was passing one of the workers said she liked the kilt (I was wearing my green PK today.) They asked about the cold, I told them it was quite warm, and I bought some goodies (it was for a local animal shelter.)

This afternoon while waiting for the prof for another class to show up, one of the guys in the class walks up in a kilt. We're in another class together, he had been wearing trousers, but he was giving a presentation on the development of Scottish national identity (Senior history seminar class), so he wore his Blackwatch kilt.

While we were all talking, he mentioned the bake sale (still going on, he passed it on the way in). He told us that they said "The last guy who passed us in a kilt donated."
