In the computer store the other day, a nice lady commented and complimented _profusely_ on my kilt, and then proceeded to chat with me about those crazy guys who beat on each other with sticks (the SCA). I told her about some of their events locally, though I am not involved with SCA. She blushed beet red talking about her one experience as a kilt inspector! I may have, too. The story can only be described as, well, ribald.

During this conversation, she had to promise her young son - about 12 methinks - that he could have a kilt of his own very soon. Charming young fellow!

Madam's husband didn't say much, but I suspect I know what's on his wish list for Christmas... or hers.... hmm??
