A Kilt Dream Come True
Its here already!! Four days from when I ordered it. A hand sewn in Scotland Locharran (12 or 14 oz, forget which) traditional kilt in weathered Gordon. To honor my Six Great Grandfather James Gordon of Aberdeenshire, Scotland. A crafty guy who wanted passage to America, so enlisted with the Redcoats to put down the Colonials who he sympathized with. Once in America he volunteered to be a spy for the Redcoats. They let him across the lines safely and he never came back. Signed up with Washington's men.
Anyhow, its perfect. The Celtic Croft had it on clearance because it was sewn up in the wrong size for someone else, but it happens to be correct for my size. Plus, a $200 discount.
35 pleats, each 3" deep. Pleated to stripe. Incredible swish factor.
Pics on page 9 of my gallery as soon as I get them loaded.
James would be proud.

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
