Congratulations on the splendid presentation you and your good lady made to those assembled for your Dinner. As has already been stated, that is a truly handsome tartan and you rightly appear to be proud to be wearing it.
Just one point (oh, there always has to be "just one point" with me, I'm afraid!) : I am surprised to see you wearing a belt with your Prince Charlie, but each to his own, I suppose!

I too stumbled over "emceed" at first reading, and then remembered that there was an Emcee in the film of 'Cabaret'. You have already looked this up in the dictionary, so you don't need me to point out that, over here, we simply use the initials: "MC" (which seems much less trouble!;)). Now, "Jaycee" (which is presumably "JC" to us) is a new one on me. I have never heard of a JC. JP yes (Justice of the Peace), but not JC - except in a religious context and, as far as I know, there has only ever been one of those!
