I've been going to physical therapy since my recent back surgery, and during one session my physical therapist, a women approximately in her mid-forties, told me that I looked like a man born to wear the kilt.

I've reflected on that comment, and have to say that I do indeed feel like a man who was born to wear the kilt. Have you ever felt like this is the garment you should have been wearing all your life?

Every day is now more exciting when I'm kilted. I feel more confident in who I am. It brings out the best in me. When I go out, I feel that I'm dressed a cut above those men that have confined themselves to trousers. I enjoy the smiles I get from the ladies.

I've wondered, how is it possible for a peice of clothing to do all these things. Is it the comfort? Is it the history? Is it the attention that it brings? Is it the conversations that I now have with complete strangers, who otherwise would not have said anything.

Have you ever felt that wearing a kilt has somehow filled a void in your life that you did not know existed? Whatever it is about this amazing garment, here is to many more happy years kilted for us all.
