So I'm thinking, why can't a set of flashes be made with a solid loop of elastic? Why does it need a clasp? If I size the elastic to my legs, I could then just slip them on and off before I put on my shoes. I know it would be a bit like a garter, but why not?
Glassman, I tried this a while back and it worked well until the elastic was stretched too much and they no longer held the hose in place. Then I had to cut them apart to get my flashes off and try again. After this happened twice, I went back to the metal clips with adjustable elastic. Good idea if you don't wear them a lot, but mine just became too loose.
