    New USAK

My Stewart hunting philabeg arrived on Thursday...as usual Rocky was dead on. I was hoping the kilt would be at the house by Friday so I could debut it at the Dunnedin Highland Games and the timing was perfect. I can now semi-retire the sportkilt , I'll use it as a back up and around the house. Now for just a quick review, as if Rocky and Kelly needed any more good revirews. The kilt was a little big but that is my fault , I have lost a little weight since I ordered it. The pleats (or should I call them perma pleats?) are pleated to the yellow stripe and they are perfect. The little extras I requested were all done to perfection as well. I had larger belt loops put on and they fit my kilt belt perfectly. I also ordered it in the correct size to wear higher up at my "natural waist" instead of lower like a regular casual. I am a bigger guy and and even though I usually don't wear anything that high it was quite comfortable. I was on the field all day assisting the field judges and the kilt still looked great at the end of the day. I love the PV for a field kilt it stays cool and felt great. Now it's time to start stashing cash for a tank. Rocky if you read this I need some business cards ...several people asked me about the kilt, and with the crew I hang out with at these games you might be making some more "giant " kilts soon. I also debuted the Stillwater Nightstalker sporran and it will be my field sporran from now on, plenty of room for all my junk and lightweight as well. I had a 3/4 inch nylon strap that worked out perfect for a sporran belt. Anyway , I have rambled long enough, I just wanted to throw out a quick review.
