Turkey
First time I went to Istanbul, I was still trousered, but enjoyed the place a lot.
Last visit to Turkey, I was kilted the whole time and got a few stares, but nothing much. One little girl got the giggles when she saw me, making her parents rather embarassed, so I took a photo of them looking at me, and we all had a laugh.
At Antalya, I came across a man selling plain beige kilts, would you believe it? Tried one on, but thought he was asking too much for such lightweight material. Presumably, they were being sold as cover-ups for people near the beach, but I did not see any being worn.
