I was thinking today how wonderful it is to have kilts of different weights and even different styles. Yesterday we had a temperature of 80F, sunshine, high humidy, and hardly any breeze. I wore my AK tan, very light and soft polycotton and I was very confortable. Today it's 63F, cloudy, with NW winds of 14 MPH. My SWK Blackwatch 16oz wool feels great. I had a wonderful conversation with an 87 year old gentleman while we stood at the top of a hill with cool wind from a lake blasting us. The wind couldn't even touch those heavy pleats.

Wearing a kilt is a joy. I look forward to putting one on each morning. It's comfort, it's history, it's exhilarating, it's what I should have been wearing many years ago.
