When I first started lurking and reading X-Marks the Scot, Hamish posted a thread about the end of the BBC series "Monarch of the Glen". I had never heard of the show before, but the comments from everyone made it seem worth checking out. My wife and I subscribe to the Netflix DVD rental service, so I put it on our queue. Last week it finally came to the top of our list and we received the first four episodes in the mail. I would like to say that it is a completely charming (and amusing) show. It is set in Scotland and there are kilts to be seen on regular basis (one of the characters ( Duncan), seems always to be wearing one Anyone who enjoyed the old BBC comedy "Good Neighbors" will recognize Richard Briers as the crusty father, Hector. So to all of you out there who haven't heard of it before I suggest you give it a try. I'm looking forward to going through the whole series.

Quick note, I didn't put this on Hamish's original thread to give it a bump because some of the replies seemed to contain some spoilers about the show.

Cheers
