Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the kilt. Feel comfortable. When you first wear a kilt it does feel different. It is not a pair of pants. I think you may feel "insecure" without the constriction and tightness on the legs, but fairly quickly you will realize that the kilt is very "safe" and you are not in danger of flashing or revealing too much. It seems to me that a knee length kilt shows far less than most men's shorts. Explore the forum and you will find all kinds of helpful tips about how to wear a kilt, how to sit in a kilt etc. As to non-kilt wearers . . . enjoy the mystery!
