Iolaus, you make me wish I still had my Dad's 70's model K-5 Blazer. A great truck, although the wheel base was a bit short, especially when driving it with a lift kit, large tires, and trying to get through a turn signal that was already red! Dad saw me do that in front of his service station, and almost had a heart attack when the inside wheels came off the ground. Boy, I did love that truck. I took my drivers test in it while it was still set up for off-roading. Of course, my Dad, being a mechanic, never had time for his own vehicles, so it was always set up for off-roading!
