I too will chime in and state that I have a black Workman's (bought it off E-Bay from poor fella who lost weight) and I LOVE it. I go up in the Smokey Mountains quite often to see sunrises, and have worn my UK many times. Even at Clingman's Dome in November, didn't get cold. Good advice about keeping the "core" (upper body) warm, it helps. But I have found that the material is thick enough to keep out most of the wind in the winter and relaxed enough to let a breeze in in the summer. I, like most everyone else here, WANT MORE KILTS!!! I think I may actually break down and buy a tartan (SWK Irish National) soon, but am also looking at an AK, as I really like their sporran idea. Is that prety durable?
