What not to do in a kilt
Okay....I think we REALLY need a resource guide of what NOT to do in a kilt for those of us who have worn pants for decades and have no idea.
For instance....let's say that I am going regimental in the middle of the day in a Utilikilt with no sporran, crossing a busy street and to beat the traffic I run at full speed towards a group of people standing on the sidewalk, with my kilt flying up in the air.
Is this a recommended course of action to follow?
It makes perfect sense in pants or shorts if you want to get across a busy street without being run over.....
Also, at my age with my joints being as painful and tender as they are, once I start running I don't want to suddenly stop because I fear that something will be torn or become detached like a leg that I might need later in life so once I start running I can't stop.
This not something that really happened to me (well....not quite) but can't we have a guide so we each won't discover these things after it's too late?
