So I got myself a fix. My dealer hooked me up with some saffron, it's really great stuff and really feels good when you need it bad. It was waiting at the front door when I got home. So, I took it out to let it breath, and did a quick buckle up with the pleats tacked down. It fit great and the PCS suggested that we go out to dinner so I could wear it. I congratulated her on her insight, snipped the tack threads, gave the wrinkles a quick steam and put on some hose flashes, and brogues and we were gone. I Decided to let Gerry see it as he is from Antrim and would appreciate the saffron. He wasn't in yet but dinner was great, and I got to have dinner with my favorite date and photographer.

It's my first shadow tartan and it feels great. I think it will become my first choice for Irish pubs in the near future. It's just nice enough to wear with hose and brogues when you're wanting to dress a little more nicely than casual and boots. O'Neille
