Her Problem
The kilt is a bit hard to get exactly right the first time unless you hang out here at Xmarks.
What I suggest is:
For casual day wear brown street shoes, sporran and belt. Add a polo shirt and you are good.
For a slightly more formal evening wear black shoes, sporran and belt. Add dress shirt.
For Black Tie Add furry sporran and Prince Charley jacket.
White Tie add the gilly brouges.
Not all inclusive and just in general there are a lot of exceptions.
I do not see eye to eye with all of the advice here on this forum as I am from a differant culture and time but the guys here are the first people that I ask for advice.
You might want to find another girlfriend, this one has issues.
