I've actually had this finished for a couple of weeks now, but I was waiting until my usual photographer was available (no tripod) and it was a little closer to the anniversary of my join date.

Anyway -
10 oz. cotton duck
reverse kinguisse pleated - like RKilts and Utilikilts
left-hand strap fastens inside - like Matt Newsome's kilts
based on the instructions from Barb's book
mistakes - all my own


I think I may have to redo the left edge of the overapron - the pleat curl is a little annoying.

And a close-up of the fastening - straps are extra material trimmed off, and curved fastbreak buckles.


I was going to use traditional brass buckles, but this thread got me thinking about kilted travelling - no problem with metal detectors here.
