September Bay Area Kilt Night- Belmont CA

Another last Friday of the month, another great evening at the Devil's Canyon Microbrewery. There was some great live Blues music so our man Dan the brewer left his kazoo at home, along with his Alan H. made kilt. (Gotta wear it next time man!) We enjoyed good brew (including a seasonal pumpkin pie ale, that had a bouquet of nutmeg.) There was some kilted swing dancing with Damaris and the F-H.C.A.G. Way2Fractious was there with his newly self made GORGEOUS X Marks tartan kilt (though I was a dunce and didn't get some good shots of it.) New to our little outing was Vincenzo (no relation to Carl Kolchak's boss) the pug. CaptainJak's friend Alicia brought him. Walkerk's raccoon and Way2Fractious' skunk full face sporrans had quite an effect on the little guy. He also had a taste for beer so we had to keep our glasses raised about him.

It was a fun night and here are a few pictures.

Walkerk picked up this Harris Tweed jacket at the Pleasanton Games for TimC
(Now on to the conversion to an Argyle jacket)

Captainjak was looking good with his Alan H. made X Kilt and his new sporran

Vincenzo and the sporrans. After sniffing both he determined they were evil and had to be destroyed. The sight of either brought him to growl fiercely (for a pug).

We were sorry that Monkey@arms and Cameron Taylor couldn't make it (though CT your friend Chris was there and he did wear his UK)

    Cheers
