WOW, black is nice. As I was making it, I refered to it as the B17 Bonnet, and the name stuck in my mind. I got the order this morning, and was able to finish it in a day, even with having to walk a mile or two to get to the post office to mail off a few orders, go to the bank, and run a few errands, which tend to take time when you're hoofing it.
Black yarn is always a little stiff because of what they use to dye it. It is soft, but a bit stiff. Given some time and wear, this'll have a lovely drape to it. Headband stretches out to about 22 to 24 inches, or more, but that will fit tight. This particular dye lot of black has a low sheen to it, so this practically pulls the light in. The first batch of photos I took turned out terrible, I had to adjust the flash and retake.
I really want some customer action shots of this one. I am going to miss this one, it is with some small sadness that I let it go.
