So, how do you handle it?
Late last week, my bride and I had to head to Michigan for a funeral. On the way up, we stopped to see Matt at the Scottish Tartans Museum to order a couple of kilts. Matt was very helpful and walked us through all of the options and accessories we might need, thus helping lighten my wallet a fair amount ![Very Happy](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
So, what did you order, you might ask? First a box-pleat from Matt in the Isle of Skye tartan pleated to the grey stripe and an 8yd MacKinnon hunting ancient pleated to the orange stripe.
Now, my question for the rabble...... How do you handle the waiting? To make it even more interesting, the MacKinnon hunting has to be weaved and will likely not be ready until early May! Oh my!
As a last note, many, many thanks to Matt for his patience and expertise in walking a newbie through this process. My wife and I both very much appreciated this. I can certainly recommend him to any one wanting to order their first kilt!

"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
