In one of the links provided, it mentions that this can be a side effect of RA. Which I have. So that makes sense.
I may over do it, but I load my self down with fiery foods, peppers, wasabi, whatever, because I have severe anemia due to RA. Eating all of those things keeps me from getting sick. Like right now, I have a slight sore throat. But it is only s slight sore throat and cough. Things like these can wipe me out. Last time I had the flu it turned in to pneumonia in both lungs and hospitalised me. Now, I rarely get sick or get those wretched infections I had... Probably because few things can survive living in my body.
The effect has become worse since moving to a mostly vegetable based diet and adding even more onions and garlic to my food than previous.
Those 'bleached' spots on that shirt were from me bleeding on it. When I bled on the table, it ate the finish off.
