kilt to work
I broke down and wore a kilt to work yesterday. I own the company, so no problem there, but I was a little worried about how some of the clients may take it. A couple of the younger guys around the office whistled, but most only nodded or gave a thumbs up. A couple of the guys were very complimentary, but ALL the women found it great! One even made a comment about me having to leave her office for she was becoming " a little bothered!" I met some clients and peers for lunch at a local resturant, and all was received very well. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I plan to do it more often. For the record, I wore a SWK in Black Watch, dark green hose, a black twill shirt, and black leather belt and sporran. Overall, it was a smart outfit if I do say so myself. Next time maybe the Geoffrey tailor in Clan Dunbar may come out!
