I'll let you ponder that subject line for a second............

ok here's the scoop

this last friday my buddy got hitched to his longtime sweetie I was a groomsmen, so I got to get a tux ...new cowboy boots (yes I said cowboy boots ) and had to dig my cowboy hat out of storage.......

the ceramony went smoothly, then we got the group pics out of the way then it was time for them (buddy and wifey) to go get some personal shots done...
well unknown to anyone but the bride, groom and myself I went back to the changing room ....got my kilt on ( hose flashes sporran ....no belt since I was wearing a waistcoat) put my boots, tux jacket and cowboy hat on....fired up the bagpipes and led them into the reception!!!

I know what you're thinking!!!! why would you do something like that?!?!?!?

couple of reasons

1: it was FUN!!!
2: its what they wanted...even though he's English.....(tounge in cheek here) literally!! he's 1st gen. in the US and he LOVES the pipes...as does she...it was a great way to make it so EVERYONE would remember their wedding
3: if Craig Ferguson can get away with wearing a kilt with western wear SO CAN I!!

at first I thought it would look REALLY stupid....but you know what .....it didnt!! actually all the family that came over from across the pond LOVED it and everyone from here that knows me would expect nothing less...so I didnt disapoint LOL

and I know what else your thinking.....WHERE ARE THE PICS!!!

they are fourthcomming ...patience.....patience....

till then (which should be in a few days as my wife was the photog on this shindig and she's gonna be sorting through about 700 pics in the next week )

I'll keep ya posted

P.S.
one of the other groomsmen ended up walking away with a card for stillwater kilts ( I had some in my pipe box) and is going out with me on St. Paddy's in one of my kilts! ....yes I told him about xmarks too.....another one comes over to the darkside!!!
