I think we're in the same boat. Ah well, the joys of self-employment include "unscheduled sick days!" I've done what needs to be done, and I think I'll go snooze through "Tunes of Glory" to recuperate.

About the kilt contest, tho! Two parts farce and mockery, one young guy who I thought put on quite the show, a couple of older gents who were definitely in the spirit of things . . . but the two parts farce and mockery were what stuck out.

I'm no pure traditionalist, but guys just shouldn't wear micro-minis.

And while I did mention Zardoz' sharp outfit, I didn't mention James73's absolutely stunning Anderson kilt. (Umm, James, I am remembering correctly, right?) It looked a lot more blue than my monitor generally shows. Mostly I like "plain and simple" tartans, which the Anderson most definitey is not, but it looked really, really good.
