Unbuckling Kilt Straps For Storage
So I'm looking at the certificate Kathy Lare sent with my Leatherneck tartan hand sewn kilt that arrived today (pics tomorrow when its light out).
She includes a "Care Instructions" section. For the first time I noticed that she's suggested under the Storage section, "Buckling [kilt] straps during storage will cause unnecessary ridges to form."
I never noticed that before. So, I'm off to unbuckle my kilts and let them hang free.
Anyone know more about this suggestion? Either its new, or I've missed it before.
I've been leaving my kilts buckled while they're on hangars - for convenience. I'm a "step in" type kilt guy.
Thanks,
Ron
