This is me, taken in Hammersmith, west London, today - Easter Monday - by my daughter.

Various kiltpins - from the top: silver oak leaf; the X-Marks 2nd run; Light Infantry cap badge; and MFAW ribbon pinned on by a Light Infantry collar dog.

The sporran is made in dark brown latigo according to the pattern in Thompson's book with black bridle leather stiffeners and brass furniture (the tassle balls are Chinese mock-ivory Owls, and the fixture is a toggle) - I call it a Mac Tḥmais in deference to the writer.

Dodgy "Matrix-style" shades, scruffy wharehouse overall jacket, ancient two-tone blue polo shirt, Brewin navy blue hose, and Black Scarpa boots complete the ensemble.

The angle of the shot makes the kilt look a bit long.

The kilt is a Union Kilts' Black Watch.
