Hi all
Yesterday I was at the hospital with my sister, all the nurses wanted to come check out the guy in the kilt, I was wearing my Isle of Skye with a brownish toned golf shirt, brown belt, sporran, and shoes, brown hose and solid brown flashes. A doctor in the elevator of east Indian decent pipes up and says:

"Those things are getting more popular, I just saw another one, yesterday."

Then we started discussing kilts and he said he had worn one himself at a friends wedding recently, after that an older woman from the back of the elevator says to him:

"Aye but you don't have the right accent to go with it."

Of course this was delivered with a perfect Scottish brouge, the older Scottish lady and I continued discussing kilts when we got off the elevator, it was a good day kilted no silly questions or comments from anyone.

Today I just got back from doing some shopping I am wearing my Graham of Mantieth with my Caterpillar work boots scrunched down grey hose, black belt, and sporran with a grey t-shirt. I was just surrounded by a bunch of catholic school girls some of them thought it was great but one in particular had a problem with it, her first comment was:

"Why are you wearing a skirt?"

Before I could say anything her friend told her in no uncertain terms that it is a kilt. Then she asks:

"Don't you feel any shame wearing that?"

This time I was able to respond, I say

"No none at all, why do you feel any shame wearing that?"

She was none to impressed but she did not persue it anymore.

Well those were my last two days, just funny the different reactions you get. I also thought it was funny that guys walking past in shorts showing more leg than I were staring at me.
