Skweres, another accquaintance of ours, and I decided to throw together a kilt night at the last moment tonight. We decided that we should go bowling. We went to an alley that has 'cosmic' bowling. (Kinda like regular bowling except with lasers and cool black lights and stuff.) After the first three frames of amazingly awesome kilted bowling, we ordered a pitcher of soda. As Skweres and Kory (The third member of our kilted tri-fecta.) were playing, I was pouring myself a beverage. Suddenly this girl sits down next to me talking about how she has no friends and that the three of us seem so 'free spirited', and that she wanted to be our friends. After a bit of awkward conversation (including an offer of liquor and an offer to go to her, ummm... farm... ), she wandered back to the bar and we resumed our game. As the place closed, she came back and basically demanded our numbers. Being semi-retarded, for lack of a better term, we gave her our actual numbers. (Brilliant, huh?) As we all walked out, she realized that she had forgot her coat and turned back to get it. The three of us took off, sprinting across the parking lot to Skweres' car. We were in such a hurry that Skweres closed the car door on his kilt. Then we sped off to Walmart where we bummed around for a bit. On our way out, an employee stopped us and asked us where a few of the employees could get kilts. I was able to rattle off several websites for them by memory. Heh. Suggested Sportkilt and USAKilts. We ended up getting a good deal of compliments on the kilts. Ended up being a pretty awesome kilt night. Sorry, no pics though.
