I was just sitting through a meeting at work, and we were watching this training program called "Celebrate What's Right With The World". The narrator, Dewitt Jones, was a photographer for National Geographic for many years. He apparently also worked for Dewar's Whisky at some point, as he mentions, and shows, an ad that he was shooting for them, consisting of kilties participating in Scottish games. He was interested in the judge, Henry Gray, and eventually photographed him at his farm as well, which they used for an ad. Turns out that so many people saw this ad around the world, it sparked the first Gray clan gathering in more than 200 years (according to the film).

Anyway, this just goes to show you that kilts can show up in any situation.
