I really feel for you, it's like losing a child as well as a dear friend. I have two Cocker Spaniels, The previous two were 18 when they finally had to be put down. It was a nightmare, so I know how you must be feeling. Just know that we're all with you, and although there is nothing anyone can do to ease things for you, just think of all the wonderful times you had with Sarah. She had such a beautiful face. I always imagine my dogs now frolicking with St. Francis while they wait for us to join them.
