Unusual Kilt pins
I was at the Redstone Arts Center in Redstone, Colorado yesterday when I saw some REALLY cool pins. Didn't take any pictures...sorry. Anyway, they are meant fro general use, but would work very well for kilt pins. This got me thinking: anyone care to post pictures of unusual/unique/cool kilt pins that they own?
The pins I saw, BTW, were solid sterling silver, and cast by a native American couple from Mancos, CO (near Mesa Verde). They were about 3-3.5 inches long and depicted various petrogylph figures from the Colorado area. Very cool and very unique in my opinion. Also, they ran about $60-70. Given the price of sterling kilt pins that i have seen on the web, I thought this was not a bad deal. My wife, on the other hand, said "you already have enough kilt pins and those are expensive" So, I will have to wait for another day....
