Zipper repair
I recently ordered the Nightstalker™ Nylon Cargo Sporran from Jerry at Stillwater and I love it!! I have worn it everyday since I got it in the mail (two days after I ordered it!)
It is superb! The traditional look and zippered and/or Velcro pockets make it fully functional. As with every product from Stillwater, it is a high value, low cost item!
Here’s my problem. The zipper on the outermost (flap) pocket has become fowled. I did a google for “zipper repair” and found the the below site:
http://www.aceleathergoods.com/store/zipper.htm
I tried that method, but no luck. I am hesitant to start taking the sporran apart to attempt to fix the zipper. I’m sure that I could replace the zipper, but I thought I would post a question here to see if anyone has a solution.
I will also send Jerry, at Stillwater, an e-mail to see if he has any suggestions.
Not being able to use that top pocket takes much of the ease of use from the sporran, as that is where I keep loose change.
