SWK Sporran
I just picked my Stillwater Kilts sporran from the post office. It's the basic model (15.95). I only ordered it last Friday, and got the shipping notice on Monday. The turn-around time is impressive.
As for the sporran itself, it's made of fairly heavy leather for the front and back. The sides are made of a thinner, more flexible leather. The flap is held closed by a snap. The sporran measures 7 1/4" top to bottom, 6 3/4" side to side, and 1 3/4" front to back. The workmanship is good, except for the rear of one of the tassels, which has a bunch of what appears to be dried glue smeared across the leather. It comes with an adjustable sporran chain.
All in all, my impression is favorable, especially considering the price, and service I received. It will hold all my necessities quite adequately, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to kilt novices, like myself.
