Turns out I should have worn the kilt. Both the vendor trainer and our corporate trainer said it would be fine. Came up when one o' the lads asked me why I was wearing p*nts.
The instructor kept coming back to the topic for comic relief, should have just worn it. I am sure the District Manager appreciates my gesture though. Tomorrow - Free again!
If I recall this scenario has played out before (or I just had a premonition). In future cases sch as these, when a brother kiltie is told to wear grape smugglers he should keep kilt-kit in the car. At the first sounds of "should've worn the kilt" in a flash our kilted hero can save the day.
