I don't think that is Mt Rainier in the background. I think that might be Mt Hood in Oregon.

Seeing as this was my first visit to Washington, I can't say that I'm certain that that is Mt Rainier. What I do know is we exited I-5 & approached Mount St Helens from its western side & we were hiking on the blast side which was the northern face of the mountain, so whatever mountain that is is a bit to the north & east of Mount St Helens, which is why I was thinking it's Mt Rainier.

Can any local folks help us out here?
