McMurdo gave you a pretty good thread - I would have this to add.

BEFORE you start the washing process, lay out the hose on something flat and take some measurements! Write these down.

Then in the drying process, gently shape and stretch them to fit the measurements that you made. Even a little bigger.

Then let them dry.... ..... everything should come out fine!
